I am sixty-three years old. Before Ashveil I was an estate appraiser in Albany for thirty-one years. I have catalogued the belongings of approximately nine hundred people who are no longer alive. Four of those estates involved open criminal matters. This is the fifth.
I want to be plain about the following:
- § 01. I did not know the accused. I have never met him. I will not meet him.
- § 02. I did not know the deceased. I have made an offering to their families through the County, which they may accept or decline.
- § 03. No proceeds from this mercantile reach the accused, his estate, his counsel, or any party connected to his defence.
- § 04. I will not narrate the case to customers. If you wish to understand it, the chronicle is the most I will say.
I sell what is left. I do not sell what was done.
